Hilton Honors Extends Elite Status Through March 2023 with 2021 Nights to Rollover to 2022

If you have not met the 50% reduced requirements in 2021 to keep your Hilton Honors elite status for another year, here's some good news for you - all Hilton Honors members globally will maintain their current 2021 status through 31 March 2023. If you have already consumed nights this year, all of them will rollover to 2022 and give you a headstart to keeping (or attaining) your elite status for another year (through 31 March 2024). Additionally, you will also require fewer nights and stays in 2022 to qualify or maintain your status for 2023.

All Hilton Honors Members will Maintain Their 2021 Status Through 31 March 2023

Regardless of whether or not you have been requalified for status in 2022 (based on the nights and stays consumed in 2021), you will keep your status through 31 March 2023. Now if you have been scrambling to do mattress runs in your city, you now have two options:

• Cancel them and worry about requalifying next year for 2023; or

• Keep them (since the rates are comparatively lower now for most properties) and have these nights rollover to 2022 (which will help you requalify for status in 2023).

All Eligible Nights in 2021 Will Rollover to 2022

All eligible nights that you consume in 2021 will rollover to 2022 - this means that if you end the year with 10 nights, all 10 nights will rollover to 2022, giving you a headstart next year. For the sake of clarification, nights consumed last year in 2020 will not rollover for another year. Additionally, only eligible nights consumed in 2021 will rollover to 2022 - stays will not.

30% Reduction in Required Stays/Nights for Status

Hilton Honors offered a generous 50% reduction in required nights and stays in 2021 but for the following year, members will get to enjoy a 30% reduction in nights and stays required to keep or obtain elite status in the loyalty program.

• Silver: 7 nights, 3 stays, or 17,500 Base Points

• Gold: 28 nights, 14 stays, or 52,500 Base Points

• Diamond: 42 nights, 21 stays, or 84,000 Base Points

For the sake of illustration, a member who has stayed 42 nights in 2021 will have all 42 nights rollover to 2022 and he or she will qualify for Hilton Honors Diamond Status through 31 March 2024.

Milestone Bonuses to Start from 30 Nights

Members will begin earning 10,000 Hilton Honors Points Milestone Bonuses once they consumed 30 eligible nights in 2022. After 30 nights, a Milestone Bonus of 10,000 Bonus Points is received for every 10 more nights stayed in the calendar year. At 60 nights stayed in the calendar year, an additional one time 30,000 Bonus Points will be awarded.

• 30 Nights: 10,000 Bonus Points

• 40 Nights: 10,000 Bonus Points

• 50 Nights: 10,000 Bonus Points

• 60 Nights: 10,000 + 30,000 Bonus Points
