Reminder: Pick Your World of Hyatt Milestone Rewards Within 90 Days or Lose Them
World of Hyatt members start earning Milestone Rewards from 20 qualifying nights (or 35,000 base points) in a calendar year, up to 100 nights - these include bonus points, free night awards, suite upgrade awards, and more. It is important to remember that while some Milestone Rewards do not require an active selection, most of them actually require you to choose within 90 days or you will lose them completely.

World of Hyatt members must select a Milestone Reward from 40 nights (those awarded at 20 and 30 nights are automatic and do not require an active selection). Further selection of Milestone Rewards is also required at 70, 80, 90, and 100 nights. This is pretty typical to the World of Hyatt program and unlike other loyalty programs like Marriott Bonvoy where a default option is selected if a desired option is not nominated.
For example, an Annual Choice Benefit is offered to Marriott Bonvoy members who earn 50 and 75 Elite Night Credits each calendar year - members may select their desired benefits by 7 January of the following year. In the event that an Annual Choice Benefit is not selected by the cutoff date, five Suite Night Awards will automatically be selected and deposited into the member's account. In other words, you will not lose the benefit entirely if you do not select your desired benefit before the cutoff date.
To ensure that you do not miss out on your hard-earned rewards, you should make your Milestone Reward selection within 90 days from the day that you earn them - I typically select them immediately as I tend to forget these things. In most instances, I go with the bonus points (since World of Hyatt points are quite valuable) but the Suite Upgrade Awards are also pretty fantastic if you have long stays planned in the year ahead.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
