It is no secret that I was ready to walk away from the Accor Plus programme. When the changes were first announced - rebranding the beloved membership to ALL Accor+ Explorer and altering the dining and stay benefits - I wrote a rather extensive piece on why I was not renewing my membership. The devaluation of the dining discount to a flat 30% and the new restrictions on the Stay Plus benefit felt like a dealbreaker at the time. However, a new limited-time offer has landed, forcing me to recalibrate the value proposition. If you sign up for the ALL Accor+ Explorer membership before the end of the month, Accor will credit your account with 2,000 Reward points. In the Accor Live Limitless (ALL) ecosystem, points have a fixed monetary value. 2,000 Reward points are worth exactly €40, which converts to approximately S$60. This bonus effectively acts as an instant rebate on the annual membership fee. While the programme changes detailed in my earlier analysis still stand, this cash-back equivalent makes the mathematical case for holding the card much stronger for the year ahead.

My decision to resubscribe ultimately came down to the numbers. The annual fee for the membership is typically around S$299 (depending on the country of issuance). With the 2,000 bonus points returning ~S$60 in value, the "nett" cost of the membership drops significantly. Furthermore, one of the underrated improvements of the new system is the ability to pay for your membership using Reward points. If you are sitting on a stash of points like I am, you can burn them to cover the subscription fee, preserving your cash for other travel expenses.

Even if I only use the Stay Plus certificates for a weekend getaway, the membership pays for itself. The 2,000 bonus points are simply the cherry on top that tipped the scales for me.

For those who missed the rebranding news, here is a refresher on what the new ALL Accor+ Explorer tier offers as of October 2025:

• 2 Stay Plus Nights: You now receive two certificates annually. However, they must be used on a "Stay 2, Pay 1" basis (a minimum stay of two nights is required, with one night being free).

• 30 Status Nights: This grants you instant Gold Status in the ALL programme, which includes benefits like room upgrades and late check-out.

• Dining Discount: A flat 30% discount on food at participating restaurants across Asia Pacific, regardless of the number of diners.

• Drinks Discount: 15% off beverages in Asia Pacific.

While I still miss the unconditional free night of the old Accor Plus, the math for this current promotion is hard to ignore. If you have upcoming travel plans in 2026 or simply want to maintain Gold Status for another year, this is the best time to jump back in.
