The level of status you receive depends on your Mastercard tier:
Mastercard World Elite: Complimentary upgrade to Club 03 (Top Tier)
Mastercard World: Complimentary upgrade to Club 02 (Mid Tier)
For context, Club 02 status typically requires 4 nights per year, while Club 03 status usually requires 13 nights or US$6,000 in spend. Receiving this status immediately is a significant leap, particularly for the top-tier Club 03, which offers the most robust set of benefits.
While there are many World Mastercard options in Singapore (such as the Citi PremierMiles Card, DBS Woman’s World Card, and UOB PRVI Miles Card), the list of World Elite Mastercard products is more exclusive. To upgrade your status, you will need to validate your eligible Mastercard via the Mastercard Redemption Portal, add an eligible Mastercard World or Mastercard World Elite card to your wallet, and redeem your free SLH Club membership upgrade. The upgrade will be processed instantly, and your new status will be valid for 12 months from the date of redemption. If you hold one of the following World Elite cards (non-exhaustive list), you are eligible for the instant Club 03 upgrade:

The most valuable perk here is undoubtedly the complimentary daily continental breakfast for two guests. In many luxury boutique hotels, breakfast can be a costly affair, so having this included is a significant saving. While earning Club 03 status through the standard route (staying 13 nights) typically triggers a US$300 Reward Night Voucher, reports indicate that this specific instant status upgrade does not include the voucher. You will, however, be eligible for the monthly free night draw and the on-property benefits immediately.

For those who enjoy staying at unique, independent properties rather than big chain hotels, this is an excellent offer. Even if you do not travel frequently enough to maintain elite status, having Club 03 (or even Club 02) for a year ensures you get breakfast and potential upgrades on your next boutique holiday. Since SLH has now partnered with Hilton, you also have the option of booking some SLH properties via Hilton to earn Hilton Honors points. However, booking via Hilton generally grants Hilton benefits, whereas booking direct with SLH (to use your Club 03 perks) is required to enjoy the specific SLH Club benefits listed above.
