IHG Your Year of Travel Sale: Save up to 25% across Asia Pacific (Book by 4 Feb 2026)

IHG Hotels & Resorts has launched its first major regional promotion for 2026, the Your Year of Travel sale, offering travellers the opportunity to lock in discounted stays across Asia Pacific for the first half of the year. The promotion is valid for bookings made between 15 January 2026 and 4 February 2026, for stays completed between 18 January 2026 and 31 August 2026.

The sale structure is relatively straightforward, offering a tiered discount off the Best Flexible Rate (BFR). While the public offer is capped at 20%, IHG One Rewards members will enjoy additional savings. When stacked, IHG One Rewards members effectively save 25% off the Best Flexible Rate. The promotion is valid at participating hotels across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Micronesia, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and the Pacific Islands.

It is worth noting that this sale covers a wide range of brands, from luxury options like Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, and Kimpton, to everyday favourites like Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza. However, do note that Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas are explicitly excluded from this promotion.

As with most saver style promotions, the primary trade-off for the discount is flexibility. The Getaway Special rate requires full prepayment at the time of booking, and the reservation is non-refundable. If your travel plans are tentative, you may wish to stick to a flexible rate, even if it commands a premium. Additionally, bookings must be made at least three days in advance of your arrival.

While tax and service charges are generally excluded from the rate (and will be added to your final bill), the bookings do qualify for IHG One Rewards points accrual, provided you book directly through official IHG channels. If you have firm travel plans for Japan, Southeast Asia, or Australia in the first half of 2026, this is a solid opportunity to shave 25% off your accommodation costs. With the travel window extending through to the end of August, it covers several peak travel periods including the cherry blossom season in Japan and the summer holidays in Europe (for those based there looking to travel East).
