Targeted: IHG One Rewards Offering Double Elite Night Credits (Stay by 31 March 2026)
With the turn of the new year, IHG One Rewards elite status levels have been reset, and for some (myself included), the drop from Diamond Elite to Platinum Elite for 2026 has officially kicked in. However, IHG seems to be throwing a bone to those of us who have slipped down the ranks. A new targeted promotion has surfaced, offering double elite night credits for stays completed through the end of the first quarter of 2026.

This promotion is strictly targeted, so you will need to check your email or the Offers section of your IHG One Rewards account to see if you are eligible. If you are one of the lucky ones, you can earn one bonus elite night credit for every qualifying night stayed, up to a maximum of 10 bonus nights.
It is no coincidence that this offer is appearing just as members are seeing their 2025 status expire. Having dropped from Diamond Elite to Platinum Elite myself for the 2026 cycle, this feels very much like a partial win-back campaign. As a reminder, Diamond Elite status requires 70 elite nights (or 120,000 Elite Qualifying Points). By maxing out this promotion with 10 actual nights, you would end up with 20 elite nights on the books by the end of March, putting you nearly 30% of the way toward reclaiming Diamond status for 2027.
While the Double Elite Nights help you climb the tier ladder, the most tangible benefit is their contribution toward Milestone Rewards.
