Marriott Bonvoy Global Promotion: 2,500 Bonus Points Per Stay and 1 Bonus Elite Night Credit Per Brand

Marriott Bonvoy has finally unveiled its first global promotion of 2026, and it is a bit of a departure from the double elite nights offers we have seen in previous years. For stays completed between 25 February and 10 May 2026, members can earn 2,500 bonus points per stay and one bonus Elite Night Credit (ENC) for every different brand they stay at during the promotional period.

While the points bonus is a fixed amount regardless of the stay duration, the brand-centric ENC bonus offers an interesting (and potentially lucrative) path for those looking to fast-track their way to elite status. To participate in the promotion, you must register your account by 26 April 2026.

Unlike previous Double Elite Night promotions where every night counted as two, this offer rewards brand diversity. If you stay at five different brands during the promotional window, you will earn five bonus ENCs in addition to the actual nights stayed.

The 2,500 bonus points per stay is a decent return, especially for short, one-night stays at lower-priced properties. Based on recent redemption stays, I value each point at 1.0 SG cents so this is worth approximately S$25 per stay. The 1 bonus ENC per brand is where things get interesting for mattress runners but obviously it won’t be as easy to qualify for Platinum Elite (or higher tier) with just one stay. Marriott currently has over 30 participating brands but you might find it difficult to hop around in this part of the world

Do remember that award redemption stays (Points, Cash + Points, or Free Night Awards) are not eligible for the bonus points or the bonus ENCs. While not as straightforward as a Double Elite Night promotion, this Q1 2026 offer is a great excuse to explore different brands within the Marriott portfolio. If you have single-night stays planned, the 2,500 bonus points add up quickly, and the brand-based ENCs provide a unique path to requalification.
