IHG One Rewards Sizzling Summer Fest 2026: 2X Points on Dining (Dine by 31 August 2026)

It is no secret that IHG's dining privileges promotions rarely move the needle in the same way its hotel booking bonuses do, but Sizzling Summer Fest is one worth flagging if you already have IHG-branded restaurants and bars on your radar this summer. From 1 July to 31 August 2026, IHG One Rewards members earn double points on qualifying dining spend at participating outlets across Southeast Asia and Korea, specifically Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and South Korea. The promotion spans everything from beachside brunch spots to rooftop bars at properties like InterContinental Halong Bay Resort, Holiday Inn Pattaya and Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach.

Only one IHG One Rewards member can earn points per bill, so splitting a table across multiple accounts will not multiply your haul. The payment must be made directly at the outlet at the time of dining. Charges billed to the room or settled via room folio do not qualify, which rules out a fair number of hotel restaurant visits for guests who prefer to charge everything to the room. For the sake of clarification, the 2X calculation covers base points plus promotional bonus points combined. It does not include any Elite status bonus points, and the bonus points earned do not count toward Elite status qualification.

Being honest, dining promotions like this are rarely a reason to book a trip on their own. The elephant in the room is that base dining earn rates on IHG One Rewards are modest to begin with, so doubling a small number still leaves you with a small number. Where this becomes a genuine, if modest, perk is if you already have a stay booked at a participating property in one of these markets and were planning to eat at the hotel restaurant or bar regardless. Paying directly rather than charging to the room, and keeping bills to eight guests or fewer, becomes the difference between capturing the bonus and leaving points on the table. For Singapore-based IHG members with trips to Bali, Bangkok, Phuket or Seoul on the calendar for the next two months, it is worth checking whether your hotel's outlets are on the participating list before you settle the bill.
