The JW Marriott Auckland is still refurbishing its guest rooms and suites (with an expected completion date in November 2024). I stayed in a Deluxe Room (non-refurbished) and have found the experience to be lacking of a typical JW Marriott property.

The JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central may not be the best looking hotel inside but it is a fantastic property to redeem points for! It is also located a short walk from key attractions in Beijing with great accessibility via the subway system.

As a newly-minted Platinum Elite member in the Marriott Rewards program, I was eager to test out some of the benefits here in Singapore - it only makes sense to invest a good amount of money each year in selected loyalty programs if you are going to make use of the benefits that come with the status that you have worked so hard for. I was recently invited down by the team to check out Madame Fan which in their words, is a 'etiquette-free entertainment lifestyle concept' - this means that while the food is authentic, the dining experience is different from what is typically associated to traditional Chinese restaurants.
