JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach will Reopen for Staycations on 10 December 2020 - Everything You Need to Know (Including Executive Lounge Timings)

Two days ago, I mentioned that the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach might be opening for leisure stays soon and it is now confirmed that the property will reopen for staycations on 10 December 2020. The hotel has also launched a brand new room package, The Ultimate Getaway, which offers a full 24-hour stay with a choice of check-in time so you can really stretch that stay the way you want it.

I have stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach on many occasions and personally, it is one of my favourite Marriott Bonvoy-participating properties in Singapore. I have previously reviewed the Premier Marina Bay View Room but obviously, we expect some things to change in Phase 2 of Singapore's reopening.

It goes without saying that Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite and higher members will continue to get access to the Executive Lounge during their stay but there will be some revisions to the hours in which the lounge is operated. It will not be opened throughout the day but it will only operate during the following meal periods at the time of writing:

• Afternoon Tea - 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM

• Evening Cocktails - 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

• Hors D'oeuvres - 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM

You might notice that the evening cocktails at the JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach have been reduced to 3.5 hours for now but hors d'oeuvres will continue to be served for two hours which is pretty much the same as pre-COVID days (except that it will be delivered to your table instead). Breakfast for those staying on an eligible or inclusive rate will be served at Beach Road Kitchen and Safe Management Measures will be in place to keep all hotel guests safe.

The JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach has also launched a brand new room package - The Ultimate Getaway - which comes with the following inclusions:

• 2,000 Bonus Points

• 24-hour stay with a choice of check-in time

• Breakfast for Two at Beach Road Kitchen

• S$50 Dining Credit (for use during stay)

• S$50 Return Stay Voucher

The Ultimate Getaway is applicable for stays through 30 June 2021 and it should show up automatically but in the event that it doesn't, inputting the promotional code of ZJL should do the trick. While we are waiting for the next Marriott Bonvoy global promotion, getting 2,000 bonus points with each stay is not bad as well. There is plenty of availability for The Ultimate Getaway but the lowest rate I have seen at the time of writing is at S$360++ which is a rather attractive rate since it comes with quite a bit - do make sure you book it soon (it has a flexible cancellation policy anyway) as I would personally expect the rates at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach to go up quickly as demand goes up.
