This Christmas log cake will also be representing the hotel in the global Sofitel Bûche de Noël contest which is staged every year for pastry chefs in Sofitel hotels to indulge in some friendly competition.

The week long celebration will feature Vietnamese specialties like the chả cá (grilled fish), nem cua bể (spring roll), cơm chiên chay (lotus fried rice) and chuối bọc nếp nướng (grilled banana in rice crust) at the Red Oven located on level 7. These authentic dishes will be prepared by the Vietnamese guest chefs from the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.
