IHG to open Hotel Indigo in Sydney opposite Capitol Square - Hotel Indigo Sydney Central

A management agreement has been signed between the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Watson Elite for Sydney's first Hotel Indigo which is slated to open in 2021. The third Hotel Indigo property planned for Australia (following the Hotel Indigo Brisbane Fortitude Valley as well as Hotel Indigo Melbourne Docklands), Hotel Indigo Sydney Central, will be located opposite Capitol Square in the central precinct of Sydney.

Qantas Now Flying Direct from Sydney to Beijing on Airbus A330-200

Beijing is Qantas' third destination in Greater China and the new service operated a 235-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft will connect Sydney to Beijing directly. With flights that depart daily, this brand new service by Qantas is expected to add 3,300 seats to the market each week and the inbound flights have been timed to connect with Qantas' domestic network to popular destinations like Melbourne, Brisbane and Hobart.

Four Points to be Re-branded into Hyatt Regency in Sydney?

When I stayed at the Four Points by Sherton Sydney, Darling Harbour last year, I fell in love with it. The newly-refurbished hotel offers a really impressive view of the harbour (check it out here!) and the location is also really great with everything within walking distance. I read this morning that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with a M&L Hospitality affiliate to transform the Four Points by Sherton Sydney, Darling Harbour into the Hyatt Regency Sydney. The re-brand will officially happen on 30 November 2016 if the agreement goes through.
