Four Points to be Re-branded into Hyatt Regency in Sydney?
When I stayed at the Four Points by Sherton Sydney, Darling Harbour last year, I fell in love with it. The newly-refurbished hotel offers a really impressive view of the harbour (check it out here!) and the location is also really great with everything within walking distance. I read this morning that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with a M&L Hospitality affiliate to transform the Four Points by Sherton Sydney, Darling Harbour into the Hyatt Regency Sydney. The re-brand will officially happen on 30 November 2016 if the agreement goes through.
The current Four Points by Sherton Sydney, Darling Harbour has just undergone a significant US$250 million redevelopment and refurbishment. The expansion of the hotel will also include a brand new 24-storey tower with 222 additional guest rooms that will bring the total room inventory count to 892. The hotel will also introduce a new 272-seat all-day dining restaurant which will feature a Regency Club lounge (after the re-brand) with impressive and panoramic views of the harbour.
