Lounge Review: Louis' Tavern CIP First Class Lounge

Located in the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Concourse G), the Louis' Tavern CIP First Class Lounge is free for holders of the ANZ Travel Visa Signature card. Despite being called a First Class lounge, there is nothing First Class about this place at all. Unless of course, you consider it to be first in its class to be bad. While it would have passed off as an indie and grunge looking bar or cafe, the lounge was almost dreadful to be in.

Lounge Review: SATS Premier Lounge (Terminal 2)

I visited the SATS Premier Lounge at Terminal 2 which is located in the Departure Transit Hall on Level 3. As I had a morning flight to catch, I arrived at the lounge around 645am and it was almost empty. For those on a longer layover, there's ample reading materials in the lounge - magazines, newspapers and even the computers if you're travelling (extremely) light. Overall a pretty decent lounge with a comfortable environment and the right facilities. It was not extremely fancy but definitely had everything you required for a lengthy layover in Singapore.

The Qantas Hong Kong Lounge

Located on level seven in Terminal One, the new Qantas Hong Long lounge boasts an extensive range of (alcoholic) drinks and food while offering ample space for the business traveler to rest and relax. There were communal tables as well as comfy leather seats scattered around the lounge. It was generally quiet and it boasted a pretty impressive view of the terminal while being conveniently located near the boarding gates.
