Malaysia will be introducing a brand new variable Tourism Tax from 01 August 2017 for all eligible accommodation products consumed by tourists in Malaysia. My First Unlimited Skype WiFi Experience in Sydney
So I am currently at the Ibis Sydney Thornleigh and WiFi access is chargeable at AU$10 (or AU$15 for premium) per 24 hours. Earlier this year, I purchased the Microsoft Work & Play Bundle for US$149 and it came with unlimited Skype WiFi access (amongst a ton of other things) - apparently this is the ONLY way you can get UNLIMITED Skype WiFi but I never thought much about it since WiFi is usually readily available.
October Ahead
Quarter three has finally come to an end and whilst we are all busy with work and other personal commitments, it is important to take time off to enjoy and spend time doing the things you love. Here's what to expect on The Shutterwhale in October: More hotel reviews, lounge reviews and travel deals!
The Qantas Hong Kong Lounge
Located on level seven in Terminal One, the new Qantas Hong Long lounge boasts an extensive range of (alcoholic) drinks and food while offering ample space for the business traveler to rest and relax. There were communal tables as well as comfy leather seats scattered around the lounge. It was generally quiet and it boasted a pretty impressive view of the terminal while being conveniently located near the boarding gates.
Hotel Review: Conrad Bali (Deluxe Ocean View)
Located about two and a half hours from Singapore is a popular getaway beach destination - Bali. I stayed at the Conrad Bali and spent three days at this fantastic property. I contacted the hotel to arrange for transport from the Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport for US$22 each way (per vehicle). Alternatively, you may choose to flag down one of many taxis for a cheaper rate (approximately US$8 - 10). The hotel is located at Nusa Dua, which is away from the usual Kuta haunts in Bali. As such, the beaches are a lot quieter but that also equates to being further away from the action and having to spend more time commuting to popular destinations.
