Earn 3 Max Miles per Dollar on Bus and MRT Rides in Singapore with Linked Visa Card + Win 2 Business Class Tickets to Japan in Grand Draw
9-11 September 2024 Only: Earn 6 Max Miles per Dollar instead of the usual 3.
Heymax has partnered up with Visa for users to earn 3 Max Miles per dollar on bus and train rides in Singapore. As a quick refresher, Max Miles can be converted into various frequent flyer programs as well as hotel loyalty programs at a 1:1 ratio. In order to participate in this campaign, you will need to have a heymax account and link a Visa card to the app. Once the linked card has been verified, you will earn 3 Max Miles for every dollar that you spend on bus and MRT rides.
The campaign will end once a total of 2,000,000 Max Miles have been awarded across all heymax users - that's over S$666,000 of spend across the Singapore bus and train system and honestly, I do not expect this to last very long so you should definitely get in on this promotion quick. In addition to the fantastic earn rate, you will also be able to take part in the Grand Draw where two lucky winners will walk away with a pair of business class tickets to Japan (worth 200,000 Max Miles).
If you do not know which credit card to use for train and bus rides in Singapore, I personally use the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card as it allows me to earn 6% cashback with no minimum spend required. The 6% cashback (awarded through 360° rewards points) is also applicable to merchants like McDonald's, Toast Box, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Spotify, and Netflix just to name a few. While there is no minimum spend required, do note that the number of bonus points is capped at 14,400 per statement month which is equivalent to S$818 of spend - extremely reasonable!
New-to-card Standard Chartered customers who sign-up for the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card by 1 September 2024 can also benefit from the following sign-up gifts (with a minimum spend of S$500 within 30 days of card activation):
Dyson AM07 (worth $459), or
Sony WF-1000XM5 (worth $429), or
S$300 Shopee Voucher
There is also currently a Pay Day Surprise offer where every 10th applicant of participating Citi & Standard Chartered credit cards will receive S$100 bonus Shopee voucher on top of the aforementioned rewards.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
