Getting Around the KrisFlyer Miles Redemption Limit on UOB Rewards - Up to 90,000 Miles Only?

The new UOB Rewards portal is beautiful and it is a huge step-up from the older UOB Rewards Plus portal. While trying to redeem some KrisFlyer Miles however, I realised that the new portal only allows you to redeem up to a maximum of 9 units - obviously with a per-transaction fee of S$25, I would want to maximise the number of miles that I am redeeming for to suit my travel requirements.

2017 Guide to the Best Credit Cards in Singapore for Earning Miles

As 2016 comes to an end, it is important to look ahead in the new year and plan for your mileage accrual (and redemption!) next year. In conjunction with Apple Pay launching in Singapore, the five participating banks have revealed their promotions. Even though I thought UOB had the best deal of a S$10 Cash Rebate initially, it is pretty disappointing to see that it is only valid for 25 May 2016 (today) only. All the information below are accurate at the time of writing and it seems like Standard Chartered cardholders will have the most benefit - up to S$50 rebate! Check out the summary below for all the Apple Pay Promotions in Singapore,

20 Miles per S$5 with Apple Pay - Get S$10 Rebate with UOB

In case you have not already heard, Apple Pay now supports credit cards from five major banks in Singapore - UOB, OCBC, POSB, DBS and Standard Chartered (SC). Apple Pay was first made available for American Express cardholders only in Singapore and now it is rolling out to everyone else. While I do love American Express for their service and (some) offers, it is simply not the best way to rake up miles unless you were shopping with one of the EXTRA Partners.
