Hotel Review: Four Seasons Hotel Singapore (Four Seasons Executive Suite) - Refurbished in 2018

The Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is home to one of the most impressive Chinese restaurants in Singapore and this is also where you will find the first L'Occitane Spa in Singapore. What is more important to take note however is that this luxurious property has only just recently completed a massive renovation of rooms and suites to reflect a brand new colour palette that is inspired and influenced by the nearby Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check out my review of the Four Seasons Executive Suite here!

Hotel Review: HOSHINOYA Tokyo (Kiku) - Luxurious Modern Ryokan in Tokyo City

Even though I had already made plans to visit a number of excellent hotels during my stay in Tokyo, the HOSHINOYA Tokyo was my most anticipated property and it was awarded a spot on the much-coveted Condé Nast Traveler’s ”Gold List 2018” a few months prior to my visit. Now most travellers are familiar with the concept of a traditional Japanese ryokan where tatami mats and onsen are typically associated with. The 17-storey HOSHINOYA Tokyo combines the best of modernity with century-old traditions to create a haven right in the heart of Tokyo's Otemachi financial district.

Hotel Review: Amari Johor Bahru (One Bedroom Suite) - Near CIQ and JB City Square

Since I have checked out the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru on a few occasions previously, I have decided to check myself in to the relatively-new Amari Johor Bahru which is located in a much better location (since it is only 5 minutes away from JB City Square) for the weekend. The hotel is located directly behind KOMTAR JBCC (which is behind JB City Square) and getting from the JB CIQ to the Amari Johor Bahru takes you less than 10 minutes on foot. Hotel Review: Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur (Grand Executive Suite) - Luxurious Hotel with Best View of Petronas Towers

The Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is one of my well-loved Grand Hyatt properties in Asia-Pacific. Now, I have been to multiple Grand Hyatt properties in the region but ever since I have successfully managed to redeem one of my guaranteed suite upgrades in this property back in 2014, the property has become one of my favourite over the years. Check out my review of the massive Grand Executive Suite here at this luxurious property in Kuala Lumpur!

Hotel Review: Rydges Auckland (King Residence Suite) - Central Hotel in Auckland's CBD

A third daily flight between Singapore and Auckland has been announced earlier this month and while it will only commence on 28 October 2018, the route is well-served by a number of solid products. In the summer months, passengers traveling on Singapore Airlines may consider trying out the excellent Suites and Business Class product on the A380. After staying at the Hilton Auckland for about a week, I moved over to the Rydges Auckland for the weekend as it was considerably more affordable and it is situated right in the middle of the city along Federal Street. Hotel Review: Conrad Beijing (Executive Suite) - Luxurious and Modern Hotel in Beijing

The Executive Suite at the Conrad Beijing is easily one of the most beautiful suites that I have stayed in. It enjoys plenty of daylight and the view is amazing (as long as the weather in Beijing is good). The property is located to Sanlitun and Guomao, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travellers but more importantly, the interiors of the hotel are just stunning! Hotel Review: Andaz Singapore (Andaz Suite King) - First Andaz Hotel in Southeast Asia!

I am a huge fan of the Hyatt brand and even though I have lost my Globalist status earlier this year, the Andaz Singapore has been my most anticipated hotel to open in Singapore this year. Occupying the top floors of one of the iconic DUO skyscrapers, the Andaz Singapore is the first Andaz-branded property to open in Southeast Asia. More importantly, it is a product of two very famous and established architects - Ole Scheeren and Andre Fu. Check out my review of the Andaz Suite here!

Hotel Review: Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa (Regency Suite)

It has been slightly over five years since my last visit to Vietnam and after hearing quite a bit about Danang, I decided to make use of a weekend to go check it out for myself. At the time of writing, there are only two airlines that connect Singapore (SIN) to Danang (DAD) directly - SilkAir and Jetstar. While I have previously considered the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort (especially since it has won the Best Resort Hotel in Asia-Pacific), I decided to go with the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa in the end and I am truly glad I made that right decision. Check out my review of the Regency Suite here!
