My advice? Take the latter (Platinum) option. For just an additional S$120 a day, you will enjoy Afternoon Tea (3pm tp 5pm) and Cocktails (6pm to 8pm). You will also get the choice of an Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand or the Padang Grandstand seat with the latter package.
