AccorHotels to Introduce Three More Hotels in Southern Thailand
AccorHotels will be rebranding two existing properties in Phuket as the Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa as well as the Avista Hidewaway Phuket Patong, MGallery by Sofitel 01 April 2016. The hotel chain giant will also be introducing a brand-new Avista Grande Phuket Karon, MGallery by Sofitel that is slated to open in 2018. This strategic move will bring the Group's upcoming pipeline of hotels in the area of 10 properties which is in addition to the current 16 hotels and resorts that they manage across Southern Thailand.

Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, MGallery by Sofitel
Located within two minutes walk from the famous Patong beach and Jungceylon Shopping Centre, the Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong, MGallery by Sofitel will feature 150 rooms, two restaurants, two bars, one meeting room, a business centre, three swimming pools, and a spa, fitness centre and kid’s club.

With 143 rooms, the Novotel Phuket Kata Avista Resort and Spa is located just 5 minutes walk from Kata Beach. The property will also house one restaurant, two bars, two meeting rooms, and a business centre, swimming pool, fitness centre and kid’s club.
Avista Grande Phuket Karon, MGallery by Sofitel
Scheduled to open in 2018, the Avista Grande Phuket Karon, MGallery by Sofitel will have 160 rooms, one restaurant, three bars, two meeting rooms and a swimming pool, business centre and kid’s club. The resort will be located a 10 minute drive from Patong’s shopping and entertainment area.
Sheraton Johor Bahru is now accepting reservations from 1 October 2025. Featuring 345 rooms, diverse dining, event spaces for up to 600 guests, and direct access to a boutique mall, the new hotel is set to elevate the hospitality scene in southern Malaysia.
