Singapore Airlines Limits Book The Cook Breakfast Options in Business Class to Just Seven Items on Regional Flights
I love traveling on Singapore Airlines and one of the greatest perks of flying in Business Class (or First Class!) is being able to select from an extensive list of food items. However, it now appears that Business Class passengers can only pick from a condensed version of Book The Cook options on regional flights now. Charging everything to the right credit cards (especially those that give you 4 miles per dollar!) can help you build up a mileage bank very quickly - this allows you to travel in premium cabin classes for close to nothing. I have always been a fan of the Book The Cook options (I have even compared the different options in First Class and Business Class previously) but now it appears that premium cabin passengers can only select from seven different items on regional flights (at least for the breakfast service).

There are a number of dishes that I typically go for on a regional flight (e.g. the Chargrilled Soya-Flavoured Beef as well as the Nonya Nasi Padang are both delicious) but at the time of writing, I am only able to select from the following Book The Cook dishes on an upcoming regional flight:
Coconut Chia Pudding with Strawberries
Dim Sum
Fish Congee
Nasi Biryani
Nasi Lemak
Poached Egg in Hollandaise Sauce
Wholegrain Crisp Bread
Obviously the Business Class products on the 787-10 Dreamliner is still a fantastic on a regional route but I can't say I am not disappointed about this change. Singapore Airlines made it possible for passengers to view the in-flight menu back in 2017 and subsequently, they have allowed passengers to select their preferred meals as well. After looking at the Book The Cook dishes available, I have to say that the in-flight menu is look a whole lot more interesting and attractive.
Business Class passengers now enjoy complimentary inflight Wi-Fi when traveling on Cathay Pacific.
