After a series of delays, the Park Hyatt Auckland is finally taking reservations for March 2020 and beyond - located on the water's edge, this brand new luxurious property will offer expansive views across Wynyard Quarter's Lighter Basin and out to the Waitematā Harbour. The hotel is also now part of the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) program which means Centurion and Platinum memberswill get to enjoy exclusive benefits like USD 100 worth of property credit and guaranteed late check-out when booking an eligible rate.

At the time of writing, no advance purchase rates have been loaded for early 2020 so if you are planning to stay at the Park Hyatt Auckland, booking the FHR rate will be the way to go since it offers plenty of value (even on a one-night stay) like complimentary breakfast as well as a USD 100 property credit which can be utilised during the stay. If you are thinking about using your World of Hyatt Points here, you will require 20,000 points a night here but this might change once World of Hyatt has introduced the peak and off-peak pricing in March 2020.

If you do not have sufficient points, you may purchase World of Hyatt points with a 40% bonus now until 31 December 2019 - this is a great time to lock in these stays before the peak pricing is introduced next year.
