American Express to Close All Centurion Lounges Worldwide Temporarily from 21 March 2020 due to COVID-19

To prevent the further spread of COVID-19, American Express will be temporarily closing all The Centurion Lounge locations globally from 21 March 2020. At the time of writing, it is unclear when the lounges will reopen but American Express will be providing notice online, as well as on the Amex Mobile App when locations start to reopen.

The Centurion Lounge is typically accessible to American Express Centurion and Platinum members regardless of the country in which the card is issued in. American Express has initially planned new openings of The Centurion Lounge at Denver International Airport (DEN), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Heathrow Airport (LHR) but there may be potential delays due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus (and the state that the international travel market is in).
