The Friends of the Gardens e-membership will give you unlimited access to the Flower Dome, Cloud Forest, and OCBC Skyway - if you opt for the weekday-only membership, do note that access on weekends will be chargeable at the usual rates. Additionally, you will also be able to enjoy free parking for the first two hours each day on valid days of visitation - click HERE for a detailed comparison of e-membership options. If you have been following The Shutterwhale on Instagram, you should notice that I actually go down to the Gardens by the Bay very often and I have been using my Friends of the Gardens e-membership quite frequently to visit the Cloud Forest after a run - it is the perfect spot to cool off and enjoy some fresh air!
You can very easily "earn back" the cost of your membership is access to the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome on the same day will cost you S$28 as an adult. Additionally, it will cost S$8 to get up the OCBC Skyway so visiting all three attractions will cost you S$36. At the time of writing, the Friends of the Gardens e-membership costs only S$20 for 6 months (weekdays only) and S$42 for a year of all-day access so if you are planning to spend a day out at the Gardens by the Bay, I highly recommend that you jump on this opportunity to pick-up a discounted membership as quickly as you can.
There are various different membership options to take advantage of but the Family Plus membership at S$148 nett really represents a huge saving opportunity since it gives up to 5 family members (no age limit) all the perks of having a Friends of the Gardens e-membership for a full year. This works out to just S$29.60 nett per person which is even cheaper than the cost of visiting all three attractions once.
Planning a beach day can seem simple, but unexpected issues often arise. Mornington Peninsula’s beaches are popular, which means dealing with potential crowds, fluctuating weather, and poor preparation can easily ruin your outing. Arriving late might lead to parking challenges, and picking the wrong beach can limit your planned activities. Many forget important items that could make or break their beach experience, leading to stress and missed opportunities for relaxation.
