American Express Unveils Exclusive Platinum at Basque Kitchen for Centurion and Platinum Members - Get Complimentary Champagne with Views of Fullerton Waterfront

American Express has just officially unveiled the latest exclusive space for Centurion and Platinum Members in Singapore. Platinum at Basque Kitchen is located within the historical building of The Fullerton Waterboat House and eligible members will be able to access this dedicated space from 20 April 2021 (or 27 April 2021 for Platinum members). Similar to the previous Platinum VIBES and NOOK by Platinum, Centurion, and Platinum charge cardholders will be able to enjoy a complimentary drink with each visit.

Centurion and Platinum members will get access to priority reservations at Basque Kitchen by Aitor (which was awarded One Michelin Star in the 2019 Michelin Guide), as well as a suite of complimentary experiences which include valet service and a free drink with each visit:

• Centurion Members: One glass of 2012 Boërl & Kroff Blanc de Noirs

• Platinum Members: One glass of 2006 Piper-Heidsieck "Cuvée Rare" Brut Champagne

While price is not always an indication of quality, it certainly is interesting to know that Grand Cru is selling a bottle of 2012 Boërl & Kroff Blanc de Noirs and 2006 Piper-Heidsieck "Cuvée Rare" Brut Champagne for S$600 and S$302 respectively. Unlike the previous locations, Platinum at Basque Kitchen is here to stay for a while. According to the terms and conditions published online, access to this exclusive space for eligible members will be available through 19 April 2023. As usual, Centurion and Platinum Members may bring their guests to this space at no additional charge but do remember that only primary and supplementary cardholders will receive a complimentary drink with each visit.

At the time of writing, Basque Kitchen by Aitor (and therefore, Platinum at Basque Kitchen) is only open from Tuesday to Saturday. While lunch and dinner are only served from 12.00 PM to 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM respectively, the Pintxos Bar will be open from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on the aforementioned days. The exclusive lunch and dinner tasting menus are currently priced at S$158++ and S$248++ respectively per guest. A separate menu is available at Pintxos Bar and information will be provided once it becomes available.
