Do remember that you will only earn points on eligible stays - booking a luxury travel advisor rate (e.g. Luxury Circle or Virtuoso) via HoteLux or ClassicTravel is an eligible rate so you will still earn double points on all stays consumed between 21 June 2021 and 31 August 2021 upon registration of the global promotion. Additionally, all eligible nights consumed between 01 May 2021 and 31 July 2021 will earn double elite-qualifying nights - you will also earn double GC Award Points if you stay between now and 31 July 2021 once you have registered for the aforementioned global promotion.
If you are planning for a staycation, booking the Luxury Circle rate gives you USD 100 property credit per stay (even if you stay for just one night) - this rate is also exactly the same as the Flexible Rate so you do not actually pay anything extra. I have stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore on many occassions and the USD 100 property credit is enough for two meals (in-room dining) for two adults.
TRIBE Living Bangkok Sukhumvit 39 is a great value choice for budget-conscious travelers but its slightly longer walk from Phrom Phong BTS Station may make it less convenient compared to more accessible (but pricier) options in the area.
