Double Elite Night Credit and 1,000 Bonus Points Per Night with Marriott Bonvoy's New Global Promotion (8 Feb to 4 May 2022)

When Marriott Bonvoy sent out “2021 Year in Review" emails last week, it hinted at an upcoming global promotion - the 'Every Night Counts Even More' global promotion which will run from 8 February 2022 to 4 May 2022. The cat is now out of the bag - Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to earn double Elite Night Credit as well as 1,000 bonus points per paid night consumed between the promotional period.

Marriott Bonvoy members will have to register for the global promotion (do it now so you do not forget!) to start earning double elite nights and bonus points during the promotional period. Do note that only eligible paid nights completed between 8 February 2022 and 4 May 2022 will count towards this promotion - award redemption nights including Cash + Points, free night award certificates, or a points redemption will not be eligible for this promotion.

There is technically no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn during this period, but since the promotion will run for 85 nights, the maximum number of bonus points you can earn under this global promotion will logically be 85,000 points. This is a fantastic promotion in my opinion since there is no minimum length of stay requirement so make sure you lock in those nights during this period to earn or retain your Marriott Bonvoy elite status for the upcoming year.
