The Best Miles Card in Singapore is Now Open to Male Applicants - 6 Miles per Dollar with the UOB Lady's Card

In case you have missed it, all three variants of the UOB Lady's Cards (which also include the UOB Lady's Solitaire Card and UOB Lady's Solitaire Metal Card) are now open to male applicants. All the variants of the UOB Lady's Card will allow cardholders to earn up to 6 miles per dollar across elected bonus categories (or just a single category with the UOB Lady's Card) each month and that is a seriously good earning rate as credit cards in Singapore typically max out at 4 miles per dollar.

Click HERE to apply for the UOB Lady's Card and earn up to 6 miles per dollar!

There are three versions of the UOB Lady's Card and they will all allow you to earn 15 UNI$ per S$5 (which works out to 6 miles per dollar) on your elected bonus category:

  • UOB Lady's Card: Capped at S$1,000 per calendar month in one bonus category.

  • UOB Lady's Solitaire Card: Capped at S$3,000 per calendar month in two bonus categories.

  • UOB Lady's Solitaire Metal Card: Capped at S$3,000 per calendar month in two bonus categories.

The 6 miles per dollar earn rate is valid until 29 February 2024 and it will revert back to 4 miles per dollar following that (unless the promotion gets extended further). It goes without saying that a 6 miles per dollar earn rate is practically unheard of in Singapore - the only exception is The American Express Platinum Card (or Centurion Card) which earns 7.91 miles per dollar across a very curated selection of 10Xcelerator partners (capped at S$16,000 each year).

Regardless of which variant of the UOB Lady's Card you hold, there will be seven bonus categories that you can choose from to benefit from the 6 miles per dollar earn rate - you will be able to change this selection every quarter if desired so this can seriously supercharge your mileage bank depending on your biggest upcoming expense categories. Here are the seven categories that you can choose for the quarter:

  1. Fashion

  2. Dining

  3. Travel

  4. Beauty and Wellness

  5. Family

  6. Transport

  7. Entertainment

If you hold the UOB Lady's Card, you will be able to select one of the aforementioned categories and earn up to 6 miles per dollar (capped at S$1,000). If you have the UOB Lady's Solitaire Card (which has a high annual income requirement), you will benefit from two bonus categories, and a higher monthly cap of S$3,000. Do note that the annual fee for both credit cards is waived in the first year and you may request an annual fee waiver in the subsequent year which is subject to approval based on your card usage.

UOB Lady’s Card

  • S$30,000 Income Requirement

  • 15X UNI$ (6 miles per dollar) capped at S$1,000 per calendar month.

  • Enjoy bonus earn rate on one out of seven categories

UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card

  • S$120,000 Income Requirement (Not Strict)

  • 15X UNI$ (6 miles per dollar) capped at S$3,000 per calendar month.

  • Enjoy bonus earn rate on two out of seven categories

  • Complimentary travel insurance

The main advantages that the UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card has over the basic UOB Lady's Card are a higher spending limit (up to S$3,000 instead of S$1,000) and the ability to elect two (instead of just one) bonus categories for the quarter.

POOLING OF POINTS

UNI$ that are accrued on any three variants of the UOB Lady's Cards will pool with other UOB credit cards that offer the same reward currency (e.g. UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card). While I do have quite a number of credit cards in my mobile wallet, the UOB Preferred Platinum Visa Card is the only other UOB credit card that I have since it allows me to earn 4 miles per dollar on all eligible contactless transactions - this is also one of the best credit cards to have in Singapore if you are interested in collecting miles.

UOB ONE ACCOUNT

Finally, as the cherry on top of the cake, if you foresee yourself spending at least S$500 on the UOB Lady's Card (and any other eligible UOB cards) each month, the UOB One Account awards up to 5.0% p.a. effective annual interest rate (EAR) on up to S$100,000 when you also credit your salary into the same account. UOB advertises up to 7.8% p.a. interest rate on the UOB One Account but that is slightly misleading - the real number you should be looking at is up to 5.0% p.a. EAR for balances up to S$100,000.

KRIS+

If you select Dining as your bonus spend category, you will also be able to earn up to 6 miles per dollar with your UOB Lady's Card via Kris+ each month - this is awarded on up to 9 miles per dollar, depending on which restaurant you actually dine at. If you do not already have a Kris+ account, you may choose to sign-up for an account using my referral code 'C146047' to get 750 KrisPay Miles (worth S$5) after your first purchase. At the time of writing, you can also get S$10 in Kris+ miles with S$50 spent with a Mastercard (by 31 July 2023).
