Cathay Pacific Offering Up to 15% Miles Rebate on Award Flights to Australia, USA, and South Asia - Register by 22 March 2026

If you are looking to clear some of your Asia Miles balance for a mid-year getaway, Cathay Pacific has just launched a new redemption promotion. Members who register and book a Standard Award ticket by 22 March 2026 can enjoy a rebate of up to 15% of the miles required. The offer is valid for travel between 5 May 2026 and 30 June 2026, covering popular destinations including Sydney, Melbourne, New York, and Vancouver.

To eligible for the rebate, you must first register your Cathay membership via the dedicated promotion page before 22 March 2026. Do note that this offer is only applicable to members who joined the programme on or before 10 March 2026. The rebate amount depends on the type of itinerary booked:

• One-way Ticket: 10% Miles Rebate

• Round-trip Ticket: 15% Miles Rebate

The miles rebate will be credited back to your account by 31 August 2026, provided that the travel is completed by the end of June. The promotion is split into two categories based on destination. For long-haul flights to North America, only Economy Class redemptions are eligible. However, for flights to Australia and South Asia, the rebate applies to all cabin classes, including Premium Economy and Business Class.

While open-jaw bookings are permitted (e.g., flying into Sydney and returning from Melbourne), multi-city redemptions involving transits are explicitly excluded from this offer. The flights must be marketed and operated by Cathay Pacific and must originate from either Hong Kong or one of the selected destinations listed above.

There is no cap on the number of miles you can receive as a rebate during this period, and the rebate applies to redemptions made for yourself as well as your registered redemption group nominees.

A 15% rebate on Business Class awards to Australia is a fantastic deal, especially if you were already planning a trip for the June holidays. For those eyeing North America, while the rebate is restricted to Economy, it still represents a significant saving on the total miles required.
