World of Hyatt: 20% Points Back on Las Vegas Award Stays (Register by 31 July 2026)
World of Hyatt has launched a new promotion that gives members 20% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points on Free Night Award stays at participating Las Vegas-area properties. It is a reasonably straightforward promotion, and if you have a Las Vegas trip on the cards before the end of July, it is worth registering before you forget.

After registering, any points you redeem for a Free Night Award at a participating Las Vegas-area property will earn you back 20% of those points as a bonus - this promotion is strictly for stays paid with World of Hyatt points, not cash bookings. The mechanics are simple. If you redeem 30,000 points for a night at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, you will receive 6,000 Bonus Points back in your account within two to three weeks of your stay completing. At a programme valuation of roughly 1.5 to 1.7 US cents per point, that is a tangible return on what would otherwise be a straight redemption.
The promotion applies to Las Vegas-area properties bookable through World of Hyatt. Based on Hyatt's current Las Vegas portfolio, participating options include:
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (comprising The Venetian and The Palazzo) - the flagship Strip property that joined World of Hyatt in January 2025.
Rio Hotel & Casino - a Category 3 property located a block off the Strip, notable for the waiver of resort fees on award nights.
Hyatt Place Las Vegas (Paradise Road) - a convenient option near Harry Reid International Airport, approximately one mile from the Strip.
Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village - a more budget-friendly option further from the Strip, suited to those attending events at the south end of the city.
For Singapore-based travellers planning a Las Vegas stopover, this promotion has a practical use case. Las Vegas is increasingly served by direct flights via Singapore Airlines (SIN to Los Angeles or San Francisco, with onward connections) or via the Gulf carriers, and a points-funded hotel stay can take meaningful cost out of a US trip. The 20% points rebate is effectively a 20% discount on your redemption, or put another way, it reduces the net cost of a stay. If you were planning to redeem anyway, there is no reason not to register.
A few things to bear in mind. First, the Bonus Points are returned post-stay, so you should not count on them being available immediately for a subsequent redemption. Second, blackout periods may apply during special events (Las Vegas has no shortage of those), so check availability before committing. Third, the promotion does not stack with other offers or discounts, and it is only valid on bookings made through Hyatt's own channels.
For those with a reasonable World of Hyatt balance who have been looking for an excuse to redeem in Las Vegas, this promotion tips the value equation further in your favour. Register, book through Hyatt.com or the app, and let the rebate pad your balance for the next trip.
