Hotel Review: Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa (Villa du Jardin)

When I stayed in the Junior Suite of the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa earlier this year, I fell in love with the place - in fact, I dare say it is my favourite hotel in Sentosa for a weekend escape in Singapore. I had the recent opportunity of running a company event at this beautiful property once more in the crème de la crème room type - the Villa du Jardin. Since I could not seem to find enough photos of the villa while I was researching the place, I made it a point to take a couple of photos so people will know what to expect if they are going to shell out over S$2,000 a night for this amazing space.

Hotel Review: Oasia Hotel Downtown Singapore (Club Room)

Located in downtown Tanjong Pagar, the Oasia Hotel Downtown Singapore's facade is unmistakably one of the boldest and most unique in the area. Featuring an impressive vertical garden amidst an urban backdrop, the 27-storey tall business hotel offers beautifully-appointed rooms in the heart of Singapore's Central Business District - it is also just minutes away from Raffles Place, Clarke Quay, Sentosa, Orchard Road and Marina Bay. This is Far East Hospitality's second Oasia-branded property in Singapore and as part of brand standards, it is built upon the three wellness pillars - Recharge, Refuel and Refresh.

Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Express Singapore Orchard Road (Standard Room)

To complete one of my Accelerate Offers last quarter, I checked out the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Orchard Road (since it was the only HIX brand that I have not stayed in in Singapore then) on one weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how much larger (compared to the Clarke Quay location) the rooms are here. It is important to remember that the HIX is a no-frills brand by the InterContinental Hotels Group so you really are paying for the room only (breakfast and WiFi is always complimentary though!).

Hotel Review: Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa (Junior Suite)

The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa has been on my list of hotels to go to for quite sometime - this was further encouraged by the official re-branding which took place last year after all the refurbishments and enhancements have been completed. The property also houses the world's largest So SPA at its 6,000 sqm heritage site. With 211 rooms and suites as well as four private villas, the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa offers direct access to the idyllic Tanjong Beach in Sentosa and the property itself is a great escape from the busy Singapore city life!

Hotel Review: InterContinental Singapore (Heritage Suite)

After getting an InterContinental Ambassador membership (which honestly should be something everyone gets!) earlier this year, I have been really motivated to stay at the InterContinental Singapore a lot more. I stayed in the iconic Heritage Suite of the InterContinental Singapore one weekend after hearing so much about it from frequent flyers and international travelers. Previously known as the Shophouse Suite, the Heritage Suite combines the rich Peranakan heritage with shophouse living. Located on the same floor as the Club InterContinental, the Heritage Suites offer 55sqm of space with all the modern-day comforts that you require.

Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Singapore (Pacific Harbour Studio)

I spent the Christmas Eve of 2015 at the Pan Pacific Singapore (the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore in 2014 and the Hilton Singapore in 2013) as part of my personal tradition. Since I wanted to take full advantage of my expiring Black status with the DISCOVERY Loyalty status then, I deliberately booked the Pacific Club room and enjoyed a two category upgrade (as per Black benefits) into the Pacific Harbour Studio (one that I have been dying to check out!) for Christmas Eve.

Hotel Review: Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore (Executive Suite)

When I checked out the brand new Club Rooms and Club Lounge at the Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore last year, I fell in love with the property - it is tastefully done, affordable and the location is pretty decent (especially when you consider how much you are paying). Check out the beautiful new restaurants and Executive Suite of this wallet-friendly property now!
