Chef de Cuisine of Dolce Vita at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, Chef Omar Bernardi will be presenting the prized and seasonal delicacy, the white asaparagus, in a bevy of variations that incorporates a mix of traditional and creative cooking techniques. This prized ingredient will be available throughout the month of May and the menu will feature the delicacy is different cooking styles.

The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore was one of the first few hotels that I have stayed in when I relocated back to Singapore a number of years back. Last year, I stayed in a Club Marina Bay Room to check out the newly-refurbished Oriental Club and ever since I have gotten my American Express Platinum Card, I have been thinking about another staycation since the FHR Benefits for this property seem pretty good. Located near the Marina Bay, this luxurious property has just unveiled a brand new dining concept - MO BAR, which occupies the previous space where Axis Bar and Lounge used to sit, is the latest addition to the bar scene in Singapore. Led by Bar Manager Michele Mariotti who was previously as The Berkley and The Savoy in London, the cocktails here are not for the fainthearted and the inventive food will leave you craving for more.
Now that the MO BAR is officially open, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is bringing back the popular afternoon tea experience with a bi-monthly seasonal menu with views of Singapore. The MO BAR is a relaxing space that is awash in natural daylight during the day and the antique gold geometric patterns inspired by Polynesian tattoos on the ceiling and façade greet guests upon entering.
The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore officially unveiled the refreshed poolside Italian restaurant, Dolce Vita about a month ago and while I have been to the restaurant on multiple occasions, I have not dined there since the refresh. Using a mixed palette of browns and neutral tones, the newly-refreshed Italian restaurant exudes sophistication and a chic vibe. Melt Café at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore will be bringing a mouth-watering buffet of authentic Thai cuisine from 06 March 2017 to 19 March 2017.
