Something is brewing at Azur Restaurant this National Day long weekend (if for some reason you do not know this yet, we are getting a grand total of 4 days off work!). Located within the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Azur Restaurant will be serving a 1960’s themed buffet experience from 06 to 10 August 2015. Expect a "So Singaporean" scene and a Pasar Malam night market snack counter packed with delicious small bites like Steamed Tutu Kueh, Ting Ting Candy, Kachang Puteh, Muah Chee and freshly fried Goreng Pisang.
Why stop at just small snacks when there is plenty of other delicious food to dig into? If you fancy something a little more sophisticated, try the Steamed Snow Crab with Garlic Chilli and Coriander Dip or the Poached Prawns with Chrysanthemum Flower at the seafood ice bed. Since it is a 1960's buffet after all, you will be able to sample the rustic flavours from dishes like the Rojak Bandung with Cuttlefish, Kueh Pie Tee and Braised Soya Boneless Chicken with Sesame Ginger Sauce
Undisputedly well-loved local dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls, Grilled Fish and Prawn Otak in Banana Leaf, “Tulang” Braised Lamb Bone in Goat Curry and Wok Fried Chilli Crab will also make their appearance on the buffet line alongside many other flavoursome dishes.
