Christmas (2015) at the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
Having stayed in the luxurious Pool Suite and Club Room of the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, it remains as one of my favourite hotels to get away from the busy city life without having to catch a flight out. This Christmas (2015), check out what the property has to offer in terms of dining options!

TAKE HOME Yuletide Goodies from Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
T: 6823 5367 | E: lobbylounge.cpca@ihg.com
If you are coming home for Christmas (literally), pick up some of the Yuletide goodies from the Crowne Plaza Changi Airport this festive season (just be sure to make reservations in advance)! Festive highlights this year from the Lobby Lounge include:
- Roasted Texas BBQ Beef Short-Rib ($120+, 1 kg) - sous vide for 24 hours before being roasted in the oven, the beef short rib falls straight off the bone; it is completely tender and beautifully pink in the centre and an absolute pleasure to eat and indulge in.
- Roasted Turkey with Turmeric Coriander Spices accompanied by a rich and palate- pleasing Spicy Coconut Cream Sauce ($135+, 5 kg) - tender and juicy slow-cooked turkey is marinated with an oriental rub consisting of turmeric and a mix of fragrant spices.
- House Special Roasted Turkey Marinated with Maple Glaze and Chestnut Stuffing served with Cranberry Sauce ($135+, 5 kg) - available for hosts who prefer a more traditional Christmas offering. The turkey can serve approximately six to eight guests comfortably.
- Roasted Boneless Leg of Lamb with Rosemary Garlic & Caramelised Shallot Sauce ($160+, 2.6 kg) - the leg of lamb is soaked in orange brine overnight before being marinated in a fragrant combination of rosemary and garlic, and finally slow roasted at 70 degrees celsius for over seven hours.
- Ispahan-inspired Log Cake with Raspberries Yoghurt Mousse ($65+) - a luxurious raspberry yoghurt mouse with juicy lychee bits and rose flavoured jelly in the cake centre.
- Manjari Chocolate & Hazelnut Praline Yule Log Cake ($65+) - the rich chocolate cake boasts a crunchy scrumptious hazelnut centre and is artfully sculpted by our Pastry Chef to resemble an actual log from an enchanted forest topped with seasonal decorations.
The Sofitel So Bangkok has just officially unveiled the Bûche de Noël of 2015 for the Christmas period ahead. This Christmas log cake will also be representing the hotel in the global Sofitel Bûche de Noël contest which is staged every year for pastry chefs in Sofitel hotels to indulge in some friendly competition.
