American Express Brings Shop Small Movement to Singapore - Support Local Businesses and Get S$5 Back Up to 3X Per Registered Card (from 01 December)

American Express’ Shop Small is a national movement that started in the US back in 2010 and it aims to celebrate the contributions that local businesses make to their communities and the economy. After analysing the results from the first American Express Business Recovery Research for Singapore, American Express is bringing its global Shop Small movement to Singapore to encourage shoppers to show their love for local businesses. Starting from 01 December 2020, Card Members will be able to get S$5 cashback (up to three times per registered card) from spending at least S$10 across 2,000 participating Shop Small businesses in Singapore.

This is the largest cashback offer in Singapore and the Shop Small campaign will complement the SingapoRediscovers campaign launched by the Singapore Tourism Board, Enterprise Singapore, and Sentosa Development Corporation in July 2020. SingapoRediscovers encourages locals to support home-grown tourism and lifestyle businesses, through the rediscovery of hidden gems and experiences as well as attractive promotions. Participating Shop Small businesses can be found at 11 CapitaLand Malls and selected precincts such as Kampong Glam, Telok Ayer, and Tiong Bahru.
