Hilton Honors Elite Qualifying Nights Earned in 2020 Will Rollover to 2021

To support Hilton Honors members through this unprecedented global situation, elite qualifying nights earned in 2020 will rollover to 2021, making it easier for members to retain and upgrade their Hilton Honors elite statuses in 2021 through March 2023. This generous policy will be extended to all Hilton Honors members (regardless of their existing elite statuses) and it is offered on top of the status extensions that have already been awarded.

Hilton Honors members whose elite statuses were due to be downgraded on 31 March 2020 have received an extension to 31 March 2021. Members who have requalified in 2020 have receiced a status extension through 31 March 2022. By rolling over elite qualifying nights earned in 2020 to 2021, Hilton Honors is making it easier for members to retain and upgrade their elite statuses in the years ahead.

A Hilton Honors Diamond member who did 30 stays (of one night each) in 2020 will have all 30 elite qualifying nights rolled over to 2021 - he or she will only need 30 more nights in 2021 to retain Diamond status through March 2023. On the other hand, a Hilton Honors Diamond member who did 60 nights in 2020 will have all 60 nights rolled over to 2021 (and therefore extending his or her elite status by another year through March 2023). Most importantly, rollover nights are great at helping you achieve your milestone bonuses for the year ahead (even if you have already requalified for Diamond status). This is a fantastic initiative from Hilton Honors and definitely one that I wish more hotel loyalty programs in the market would follow.
