Taking effect on 01 October 2017, all Economy class flights on United Airlines will no longer earn 100% miles on Singapore Airlines' KrisFlyer program. As shown in the image below, all fare classes ticketed for Economy flights use to earn 100% of the actual miles flown (great for SIN-HKG flights for passengers in Singapore) but all eligible Economy flights now earn only 25% - 100% of actual miles flown.

The brand new Terminal 4 of Changi Airport will officially commence operations on 31 October 2017 (Tuesday) and the first arrival and departing flights here will be operated by Cathay Pacific to and from Hong Kong (CX650 and CX659 respectively).
