Hotel Review: Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour (Superior Room)

When I had to travel to Auckland for work last November, I had initially wanted to stay at the Hilton Auckland since it was closest to where the meetings were going to take place. However, since Accor was running a 40% sale with complimentary breakfast then, I've decided to stay at the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour instead - only a 15 minute walk to the Hilton Auckland - and I am glad I made that decision!

Hotel Review: Hyatt Regency Sydney (Harbour View King)

The Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour was the first stay that I have had in the Four Points by Sheraton brand. While I was initially a little skeptical about the property, I grew to love it - in fact I actually prefer it to some other higher-tier properties that Starwood has. Firstly, a little bit of fun fact - the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour is Australia's largest hotel (based on room inventory) - 862 rooms and 30 suites! The Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Darling Harbour has been rebranded to the Hyatt Regency Sydney.

Hotel Review: The St. Regis Bali Resort (Gardenia Villa)

Having been to the Island of the Gods on multiple occasion, I've always enjoyed the sense of calm in Nusa Dua and as such, I have not actually strayed away from the comforts of a luxury resort. As I have previously spent my birthdays in Conrad Bali, I wanted to spend it somewhere else this year and where else to do this other than The St. Regis Bali Resort? This ultra-luxurious property has the most amazing villas, possible the most delicious (and beautiful) food but most importantly, the best service on the island.

Hotel Review: Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort (Luxury Room)

Bali remains to be one of my favourite beach destinations in the region. I love the resorts in Nusa Dua, the people, the food and more importantly, that sense of calm right from the moment you step out of the airport. While I absolutely love the Conrad Bali, I have decided to stray away from checking myself in to the same property three years in a row and so I have decided on the Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort where I checked out the highly-acclaimed Sunday Brunch previously.

Hotel Review: The St. Regis Singapore (Executive Deluxe Room)

The first St. Regis Hotel was built by one of the wealthiest man in America and ever since then, the St. Regis brand has been synonymous with luxury and opulence - a private retreat for distinguished travellers and those who appreciate the finer things in life. Having been to the Brasserie Les Saveurs, La Brezza and the famous Yan Ting on multiple occasions, I was excited to spend a weekend in what is allegedly, Singapore's most prestigious address - the St. Regis Singapore.

5 Hotel Stays to Remember in 2015

As 2015 comes to a close, I would like to reflect on some of the most memorable hotel stays that I have had this year. Not only did I check out one of the most haunted hotels in Asia, I also went to the most opulent one (in my opinion). 2015 was also the year that I managed to bring my toy poodle (lawfully) to a weekend staycation that I enjoy so much (on a far-too-regular basis). In addition to all that, I also had the opportunity to experience living in my very own Serviced Suite (even for a night) in the heart of Singapore while having some time to check out one of the most beautiful beach resorts in Phuket (which serves excellent Thai food) on a separate weekend.
