Reward Night Available for F1 Singapore (2016) at Conrad Centennial Singapore!

If you are looking for a hotel to stay in during the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix (16-19 September 2016) this year, check out the Conrad Centennial Singapore because reward nights are wide open for redemption! While I usually do not advocate burning your Hilton HHonors Points in Singapore since that 60,000 points can be put to greater use, it is actually wise to use them for the F1 period if you intend on being here.

Is HHonors Discount the New "Easy Cancellation" Rate on Conrad?

While shopping for hotel room nights (yes, I actually do that!), I realised that the Conrad Centennial Singapore has a HHonors Discount room rate listed - upon closer inspection, this room rate offers the same cancellation policy as the Easy Cancellation rate but it comes with a 10% discount - not bad at all! Strangely enough, I do not see an Advance Purchase (non-cancellable) rate so hopefully this is not a direction that the hotel (or brand) is moving towards.

New Conrad Singapore Bear Design and S$10,000 for APSN

If you have stayed at the Conrad Centennial Singapore, you will know exactly how the teddy bear in the room (or suite!) looks. I guess for many of us, it has become a secret obsession to collect the different plush toys from Conrad all around the world. Through the "Adopt a Conrad Bear" campaign, the Conrad Centennial Singapore has raised a total of S$10,613.70 for the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) which took place last December.

Honouring Internal Rate Errors at Conrad Centennial Singapore

The Conrad Centennial Singapore is currently running a Year End Getaway promotion that offers up to 20% off the Best Available Rate. As I wanted to take advantage of a number of promotions for the stay, I've decided to go with a two night stay sometime in December 2015 and was offered the following rate of S$300++ per night (total of S$600++ for two nights) for a Classic Room. As I was fiddling around with the dates, I realised that it is actually cheaper to book the two nights separately instead.

Adopt a Conrad Bear at Conrad Centennial Singapore

Christmas is drawing near and the Conrad Centennial Singapore is partnering up with the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) for a little bit of Christmas magic this year. The "Adopt a Conrad Bear” campaign is taking place today and will last until 11 January 2016 where over 440 pieces of the signature Conrad plush bears will be made available for the public to adopt at a suggested donation amount (feel free to give more than what is recommended!). Do note that this is the last chance that the Conrad Bear can be purchased as they will no longer be produced starting 2016 (I do hope the ones in the room stays on though!).

Hotel Review: Conrad Centennial Singapore (Centennial Suite)

For this stay, I took advantage of the previous Discover Asia sale (up to 30% off) and saved quite a bit on the Centennial Suite reservation. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the location of the Conrad Centennial Singapore, it is located next to Millenia Walk and if you are coming by MRT, the closest stop would be Promenade on the Circle Line. Check out my review of the Conrad Centennial Singapore's Centennial Suite now!
