There are no lack of hotels in Singapore that will cater to different groups of travellers with a contrasting budget. That being said, new hotels are still opening up all across the Lion City. With some curiosity and a little sleep sacrifice, I have put together a list of 11 (and growing, hopefully!) hotels that will be opening in Singapore this year (2016)!

I have previously written an article on using IHG Rewards Club Points in Singapore - you can redeem for room nights, an InterContinental Ambassador membership, dining and retail vouchers as well as some really random home appliances amongst other things. To be honest, if you travel to places like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bora Bora or other expensive cities, using IHG Points for redemption is not always the best solution. However, this may change if the room rates have soared (due to a Public Holiday or special day like the New Year's Eve for instance) so be sure to watch out for those dates particularly when it is closer in.
