Apple Pay to come to Singapore via American Express soon?

The American Express Singapore app for iOS has just been updated with Touch ID authentication - you can now login to your account with your fingerprint (or thumbprint for that matter)! Additionally, if you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards program, you will not be able to use your MR points for any purchase.

Considering how Apple Pay has been recently rolled out to our friends in Canada and Australia, I do not think it would be too long before Singaporeans get their hand on the much-awaited Apple Pay. On that same note, it may be a good idea to potentially bundle your Apple Pay in Singapore with the American Express True Cashback Card (to get 1.5% cashback without limit) if you do not wish to get into the nitty gritty components of points accrual.
