InterContinental Ljubljana to open in 2017
Together with Delta Holding, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has just announced the singing of a brand new InterContinental hotel in the capital of Slovenia - InterContinental Ljubljana. Slated to open in 2017, this 165-room property will continue the solid partnership between both companies since 2007 when Crowne Plaza Belgrade was first announced. Alongside 182 InterContinental Hotels & Resorts worldwide and with over 50 hotels in the global development pipeline, IHG continues to expand the brand's portfolio across all parts of the world.

The InterContinental Ljubljana is expected to become architectural landmark in the city of Ljubljana. It will also be located just a stroll away from the major shopping and business district, Dunajska Cesta as well as the main train station. InterContinental Ljubljana will also be located nearby historical tourist attractions Presernov Square and Triple Bridge, and will offer stunning views over the river Ljubljanica.

With construction due to commence before the end of 2015, the InterContinental Ljubljana will feature two banquet halls (capable of accomodating up to 500 guests each), six board rooms as well as state of the art leisure facilities (e.g. swimming pool, spa and fitness zone).
