Is Singapore secretly getting a Hilton Garden Inn in Serangoon soon?l

While checking out room rates this evening on the Hilton HHonors app, I noticed something a little different - the first result is the Hilton Garden Inn Serangoon which is apparently coming soon (first Hong Kong, now us?!). I did not actually know (assuming this is right) that there is a Hilton Garden Inn opening in Singapore (this could be great news for us Hilton HHonors members) and with a little digging, I found a little more proof to back this speculation.

According to hosco (allegedly the world's leading hospitality network), the Hilton Garden Inn Serangoon Singapore is already looking for a General Manager. An employer profile has also been set up on Hospitality Online so job applications for this supposedly new property should start soon.

Honestly, I am personally unaware that a Hilton Garden Inn was planned for Singapore and I do not know of any existing constructions in Serangoon to house the introduction of the Hilton Garden Inn brand into Singapore. Keep your eyes and ears peeled everyone because we may be getting a Hilton Garden Inn property soon and hey, keeping your Hilton HHonors Diamond Status might just get a lot more affordable this year.
The Hilton Singapore Orchard is quite possibly the best Hilton property in Singapore right now with a beautiful Executive Lounge and newly-renovated rooms that have all the necessary essentials.
