More American Express Offers are Coming Soon - How to Get Notified on New Offers?

While American Express-issued cards have a comparatively lower earn rate, they do shine in various other aspects - the service is top-notch (even over the phone) and American Express Offers can save you plenty of money throughout the year. My Platinum Card was up for renewal and one of the main reasons why I have decided to renew it for S$1,712 (which is quite a lot of money to pay for a card) was due to the incredible American Express Offers that I have benefited from in the last 12 months.

Unlike most credit card discounts which offer a miserable discount rate off say, your dining bill, most of the American Express Offers allow you to earn a cashback from reaching a certain level of spend across selected merchants. My favourite offers include Spend S$500, Get S$200 across participating Hilton properties as well as Spend S$500, Get S$150 across participating Marriott properties - find out how I saved over S$1,000 from these offers in the last 12 months!

We have been seeing a steady flow on American Express Offers almost on a weekly basis but that has stopped in the last 3-4 weeks which is unusual. When I accessed my American Express account online today, I noticed that an opt-in message has appeared on top of my Account Summary. While the best way to get notified is via these email notifications, my Telegram Group also publishes these offers as they become available (I do not get notified by American Express but I simply monitor it regularly to see if anything new pops up). The message states that 'more are coming your way' so I am looking forward to see some new (and hopefully exciting) offers come up.

Opt-in to Product Communication

I highly recommend everyone to opt-in to these marketing messages and I have enabled most of them for all my credit cards with American Express. I have personally disabled the bit on Market Research and Insurance since they do not appeal to me but I am certainly interested to be updated on new offers as they come on so I can share them on The Shutterwhale's Telegram Group.
