In order to purchase the bonus miles, you must have held the Citi PremierMiles Card for at least 6 months prior to the commencement of the promotion period, and you have to be an existing cardholder (sign-up for the Citi PremierMiles Card so you do not miss out on future promotions!). As mentioned earlier, you will have to opt-in for this promotion and you do so easily by sending an SMS using your registered mobile number:
SMS to 72484: PMVSPENDLast 4 digits of your Citi PremierMiles Visa Card (main card) number (E.g PMVSPEND 1234)
To purchase the bonus miles on your Citi PremierMiles Card, you will have to spend a minimum sum between 21 January 2020 and 31 March 2020. If you have not registered for it and have already met the minimum sum (after 21 January 2020) stipulated below, you will still be eligible for this promotion if you register anytime between now and 31 March 2020. As mentioned earlier, you will have to pay an administrative fee of either S$215 or S$515 depending on which tier of spend you hit but I would definitely recommend paying for it since the CPM is a lot lower than what you can typically get (renewal miles from paying annual fees of credit cards have an average CPM of 2 cents):
Spend S$7,500, Get 21,000 Citi Miles for S$215 (CPM of 1.02 cents)
Spend S$14,000, Get 53,200 Citi Miles for S$515 (cpm of 0.97 cents)
As many of you may remember, Citi Miles do not expire and they convert into 12 different programs (mostly FFPs apart from IHG Rewards Club) at a 1:1 ratio - this means that you can essentially convert 50,000 Citi Miles into 50,000 EVA Air Infinity Mileagelands Miles (enough for a return-trip in Business Class on EVA Air!) if you would like. The aforementioned bonuses are also awarded on top of your base earn rates so if you were thinking about charging S$14,000 worth of foreign-currency transactions to your Citi PremierMiles Card, you would be looking at a total of 81,200 Citi Miles (28,000 Base Miles + 53,200 Bonus Miles at S$515).
Probably the best sign-up offer for Citi Credit Cards - get S$400 cash reward with minimum spend of S$500 within 30 days for new customers.
