Redeem a Movie Voucher at Cathay Cineplex for 10,000 Chope-Dollars?!

Chope users can now redeem an 'Everyday Movie Voucher' at any Cathay Cineplexes in Singapore for 10,000 Chope-Dollars. I believe this is a glitch since you can typically exchange 1,000 Chope-Dollars for a S$30 ChopeDeals Voucher (so 10,000 Chope-Dollars are worth S$300 by this very same valuation).

There has been a number of changes to the way Chope-Dollars can be utilised for ChopeDeals Vouchers as well as KrisFlyer Miles in recent months. It is also clear that Chope has been working with new redemption partners to offer more choice and variety for members to spend their Chope-Dollars on. As a quick reminder, you may be better off booking on Quandoo (via ShopBack) if you are not a frequent Chope user since that gives you a redeemable cash back per visit.
