American Express Extends Taste Singapore as a Platinum EXTRA Partner For Another Year

[18 June 2020 Update: American Express has updated its website to revert the end date of the Taste Singapore partnership back to 18 November 2020.]

With Phase 2 of Singapore's reopening slowly creeping up (that's 19 June 2020 for the uninitiated), most retail shops are expected to open and Platinum Members will once again have more avenues to enjoy up to 15.6 miles per dollar on their Platinum Card under the Double Rewards campaign. As a quick reminder, Platinum Members can typically earn up to 20X (but 40X until 20 July 2020) Membership Rewards Points across Platinum EXTRA Partners - Taste Singapore at Raffles Holland V Mall has now been extended as a Platinum EXTRA Partner for a year through 18 November 2021.

Taste Singapore stocks up various gourmet products and it is especially great if you are in the market for high-quality meats. Platinum Members typically earn 20X Membership Rewards Points per S$1.60 (7.81 miles per dollar) across Platinum EXTRA Partners but under the current Double Rewards campaign (running through 20 July 2020), members will be able to earn twice that amount - yes, that's 15.6 miles per dollar of spend. Do note that you will only receive this bonus at the physical location and it will not be valid via the online store.
