It is worth stating upfront that The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card is designed for business owners and therefore, it is not a typical credit card that anyone can and should apply for. The card accrues HighFlyer points on all eligible transactions but it earns the most points on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Scoot transactions (up to 4.25 miles per dollar!). Now if you are a salaried employee who does not own your own business, you should be looking at other credit cards in Singapore that will give you up to 4 miles per dollar on expenses. How Many Points Does The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card Earn?
You will earn 8.5 and 1.8 HighFlyer Points per dollar with The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card on eligible transactions made with the Singapore Airlines Group and all other transactions respectively. HighFlyer points can be used to offset spend with the Singapore Airlines Group (i.e. booking flights on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, and Scoot) or be converted into KrisFlyer Miles at a 2:1 ratio.

When spending with the Singapore Airlines Group, The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card offers 8.5 HighFlyer Points per dollar which is equivalent to an 8.5% cashback (on eligible spend) or an impressive accrual rate of 4.25 miles per dollar. HighFlyer points are valid for three years and they can be redeemed on any Singapore Airlines Group flights with no blackout dates.

The American Express Singapore Airlines Business Credit Card comes with a complimentary Accor Plus membership with a Stay Plus benefit (worth S$408). As mentioned earlier on, the card typically comes with an annual fee of S$299 so if you are already keen on getting the Accor Plus membership, you will be better off getting this card instead. American Express is currently offering this card for free so there is no reason why you should turn down a free Accor Plus membership and a complimentary hotel room night stay - I would personally recommend redeeming you Stay Plus benefit at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre.
