Hotel Review: Park Hotel Alexandra (Crystal Club Room)

Back in July 2015, Park Hotel Group has officially announced the opening of Park Hotel Alexandra and since then, The Carvery (which is located within the hotel) has gained quite a bit of attention for serving great quality meats at an affordable price. The Park Hotel Alexandra is located next to the iconic IKEA along Alexandra Road with pretty impressive and somewhat unobstructed views if you are on the higher floors.

Hotel Review: Hotel Indigo Bangkok (Chaiyapruek Executive Room)

The Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road first opened earlier this year along Wireless Road - where Thai radio was born. The hotel draws inspiration from the immediate neighbourhood in the vicinity and these elements trickle down to the design, food and beverage, amenities as well as services rendered in this beautiful property. I stayed at the Conrad Bangkok the last time I was in this city so I decided to stay in a different property but still along Wireless Road as it is extremely convenient to get around (without having to deal with the congestion in Siam).

Hotel Review: Hotel Jen Orchardgateway Singapore (Deluxe Room)

To take advantage of one of Golden Circle's targeted offers, I decided to spend two nights at the Hotel Jen Orchardgateway once again but only this time it was in a Deluxe Room instead of the luxurious Premier Panorama room. Barring the club rooms, there are generally three main room types: Superior, Deluxe and Premier Panorama. The Superior rooms are the most basic of all while the Deluxe rooms have a little more space and it also comes with a bathtub.

Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Orchard (Pacific Club Studio)

The Pan Pacific Orchard is the Pan Pacific Singapore's less famous sibling and it is tucked away quietly in Orchard while still being minutes away from one of the world's most famous shopping strip. The hotel can be quite easily accessed if you are coming by MRT - hop off at Orchard Station, take the underpass, exit at Shaw House (Lido), make your way down to Palais Renaissance and you will soon find yourself at this private little hotel.

Hotel Review: Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore (Club Room)

The Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore that is located within the quieter end of Orchard, along Cuscaden Rd (right across from where the Regent Singapore is). For the older generation and many Singaporeans, Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore occupies the previous Traders Hotel (also by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd) and it is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and transformation process to conform to new brand standards and expectations.

Hotel Review: Dorsett Singapore (Splash Room)

I visited the Dorsett Singapore last year and stayed in one of their newly-appointed Loft Rooms. Located just three minutes walk away from the Outram Park MRT Station, the Dorsett Singapore offers affordable accommodation in a charming location. If you have been putting off the idea of visiting the restaurants (and bars) along Keong Saik just because it is slightly inconvenient, this hotel would be an excellent place to spend a weekend in - particularly because everything is just a short stroll away.

Hotel Review: Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road

Check out my stay at the beautiful and luxuriously-finished One Bedroom Premium Suite at the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road. The Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road actually has a hotel license and this means you can actually do a weekend staycation here. Even though there is no one week minimum stay requirement here at the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road, a 2-night stay policy is usually in place (although I have seen this being lifted many times).

Hotel Review: Mandarin Oriental, Taipei

The Mandarin Oriental, Taipei is the most luxurious hotel in Taipei. After having stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore multiple times, I have fallen in love with the brand that epitomises the legendary service that is well-known for. The Mandarin Oriental, Taipei is located within Taipei's most established business district (Dunhua North Road) and it is famous for the lush canopy of trees in the vicinity. Check out my stay in the Club Deluxe Room at this opulent property.
