The Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong has finally opened its door officially in the Lion City's first heritage town, the Joo Chiat neighbourhood of Katong. The 451-room property is the largest Holiday Inn Express hotel to open in Singapore and it is nestled amongst a number of cultural landmarks and famous Peranakan eateries.
Located nearby the I12 Katong Mall and a short stroll from Parkway Parade Shopping Centre, the Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong is the perfect place to stay for visitors (or locals) looking to explore the area without having to burn a hole in your pocket. The property advertises a special opening rate from S$121++ a night but I have personally booked it for lesser. If you are thinking about redeeming your IHG Rewards Clubs points, a room night here is 20,000 IHG Rewards Club Points a night - most affordable in Singapore!
This is also a great property to consider if you are planning to complete your IHG Accelerate offers for a lot of bonus IHG Rewards Club points this quarter (read about mine HERE!). As with over 2,400 Holiday Inn Express hotels around the world, guests can select from contemporary-designed queen or twin guest rooms and enjoy a comfortable stay at Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong with the consistency and reliability of a global hotel brand.

If you have been travelling abroad frequently you must already be aware of the fact currency cash exchanges can prove quite expensive and cumbersome. In addition to that, if you underspent you are going to go back home with foreign currency and have to bother yourself to exchange it again (and lose even more money on fees). For business traveling, cash is one of the worst solutions there are.
